Description
Pan-roasted potatoes and cauliflower with turmeric, freshly ground whole spices, amchur and asafoetida. This mildly hot Sindhi dish is a healthy adaptation of the ‘Taryal Aloo Gobi’ which is traditionally deep fried potatoes and cauliflowers.
Sindhis are a socio-ethnic group of people originating from Sindh, a province of modern-day Pakistan. After the 1947 partitioning of British India into India and Pakistan, many Sindhi Hindus migrated to India and brought with them, this delicious cuisine known for it’s rich and complex flavours.
