Delicious food made healthy!
My Healthy Indian Supper Club shares the joy of authentic healthy Indian food. Everything is made from scratch using fresh and natural ingredients sourced locally. The food is free from preservatives, additives and refined sugar.
This event will be hosted in our 17th century cottage in Great Baddow. You will be seated at a communal table, sample the real flavours of India over a welcome drink and 3 course meal and also hear about the amazing health benefits in the various ingredients in your meal!
Cardamom Chai – Indian tea with milk, cardamom and evaporated sugarcane juice.
Winter Green Tea (Vegan) – Light and fragrant green tea from the Kanan Devan tea plantations in India, spiced with cloves and cinnamon.
Lamb Cutlets – Spicy minced lamb cutlets served with spicy mint chutney.
Veg Cutlets (Vegetarian/ Vegan) – Spicy vegetable cutlets served with mint chutney.
Thali – A set meal which includes a choice of a main and all the sides below
Bhunyal Murgh – Marinated chicken cooked with onions, tomatoes, fenugreek leaves, turmeric and aamchur.
Baingan Bagaara (Vegetarian/ Vegan) – Whole baby aubergines cooked in fresh coconut, sesame and peanut paste, tempered mustard and curry leaves.
Bhindi Masala (Vegetarian/ Vegan) – Okra in an onion tomato masala paste with fenugreek, turmeric and fennel.
Cabbage Poriyal (Vegetarian/ Vegan) – Shredded cabbage steamed with turmeric, spluttered mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Steamed Rice (Vegetarian/ Vegan) – Steamed short grain Sona Masoori rice.
Papad (Vegetarian/ Vegan) – Fat free papads roasted on an open flame.
Onion Mint Salad (Vegetarian/ Vegan)
Dahi (Vegetarian) – Low fat natural set Yogurt.
Tempered Cucumber Salad (Vegan) – Shredded cucumber tempered with mustard and Himalayan pink salt.
Coconut Chinagrass (Vegetarian/ Vegan) – Indian style coconut milk pannacotta with roasted almonds and evaporated sugarcane juice (jaggery).
BYOB – Bring Your Own Beverages
A welcome drink is included in the ticket price and water will be provided with the meal. Please feel free to bring your own alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Free parking after 6 pm at the Baddow Rec Carpark, 2 min walk from our door.
